Zoe James is a multidisciplinary designer, specialising in both Graphic Design and Styling/Creative Direction. She uses both practices to complement each other, often with a graphic sensibility informing her styling and visa-versa to create inventive and harmonious images. She graduated from The Whitehouse Institute of Design in 2012 and was awarded "Designer of the Year" on completion. She is currently working at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
"Zoe is inspired by the simplicity and refined movement of the Bauhaus. She uses this as a foundation to invent and invoke a sense of harmony between the viewer and the subject. Zoe finds beauty in the mistakes left behind in the creative process and subtly emphasizes their presence by not removing the awkward. By doing so she creates timeless images."
